Poor service, Poor handling of my account, no assistance.

I got a Altech Netstar tracker last year (2016) and paid the first instalment as per my agreement with the company. After this month, I lost my job and was unable to pay the account. However, as soon as I got back on my feet, I contacted Altech Netstar in order to make an arrangement and so that I can cover my arrears. I was informed that the account had been handed over to Nudebt management. I contacted Nudebt, made an arrangement with them and started making payments on a monthly basis.

During this time, my tracker had been deactivated. I continued with the payments regardless of this because I understood that my account was in arrears of about R400.

All of a sudden, I receive a message on Wednesday this week (June 2017), the account has been handed over to Debtcol debt management and is in arrears of R5440.05. I then contacted Debtcol, to have clarity into the situation and I was told that the arrear amount is +R2000. Impossible, because I have been making payments.

After these shocking revelations, I Nudebt management, they said the account was only in arrears with R400. I asked for a proof of this and until now I am still waiting for their email stating this.

I contacted Altech Netstar on Facebook, apparently they respond within a few hours but no response has been given.

What I want to know is, why are there two companies managing the account? Is it possible for me to have the tracker removed?

Any assistance will be highly appreciated.
