poor service

Recently netstar approached to upgrade the units in three of my vehicles as the current units were outdated, despite me being with netstar for more than 16 years they offered me an upgrade at a standard price.

The salesperson mislead by offering a unit that was no were near in functionality compared to the old units. Clearly there were no consultation with customers as the panic button is now on a loose remote in my opinion a huge risk should you in a highjack situation while in the car, moreover the units started to malfunction while driving on uneven roads we were told this a inherent problem with the new units. Furthermore the old units had the auto arm facility which was not available with the new!! Units a down grade I will say. I have lodged a service call to rectify the problematic units a booking was made for Sat 30th and nobody pitched a waste of my Saturday at the same time i requested two auto arm tags that would have costed R150 each which would have been fitted by netstar again nobody pitched on querying the no show I was informed that there will be a R450 rand fitment charge each .I cannot believe the service and the inefficiency and node care attitude of the netstar personnel. And as per usual with Netstar their senior personnel is always in meetings
