No attempt to keep a customer

in 2014 I signed a contract with Netstar for Netstar Sleuth at the time I did not a child and did not require anything more from a tracker system. In August 2016 I purchased another vehicle and wanted to get a tracker device for my new vehicle as well, However I now have a child and so required a different system. Netstar advised me to get the Early warning package. I was going to sign up my new car for this package and then asked if I could also upgrade my current vehicle (on sleuth) to the early warning system because then both my cars would be on the same system and I would have peace of mind for my childs safety. Instead of making a plan to 1. get new business and 2. Retain a customer, Netstar decided they would rather charge me a cancellation fee of R200 for wanting to upgrade and therefore have 1. Lost new business over R200 and 2. once my 36 month contract is up in June 2017 I will be cancelling this service as well and therefore they have also lost current business.

it is good to know that with the economy being so shoddy that companies are in a posistion to lose business.
