NETSTAR’S DON’T CARE ATTITUDE.

Firstly, I would like to express my ABSOLUTE DISGUST in NETSTAR! Full of promises when you contact their SALES DEPARTMENT, but when you have a SERIOUS ISSUE and need assistance, you are kept prisoner!

After purchasing a new vehicle in June 2019, I joined NETSTAR in AUGUST 2019 with promises of it being the best tracking company and to quote from NETSTAR’S WEBSITE: “….and the best-in-class….”.

Due to the outbreak of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, (COVID-19), and receiving a reduced income as a result of this, we were FORCED to sell one of our vehicles in February 2021, as we were no longer able to afford it (Monthly Repayments, Insurance costs, running costs and the cost of the monthly fees for the tracking device), and could only keep one vehicle. (Also fitted with a Netstar tracking device).

When I tried to CANCEL ONE of our NETSTAR SUBSCRIPTIONS (of the SOLD vehicle) in March this year, I was “REMINDED” that I will be in breach of contract and that I will have to pay an early settlement fee. I explained my situation to numerous agents and asked for the matter to be escalated, whereby I finally was told that I am able to give 20 days notice in July 2021.

To my surprise, THIS MORNING, after calling NETSTAR, I was advised that there are still 12 months to go and an early settlement fee of R1,300 is payable! Really?

I am absolutely disappointed in this company and cannot wait for the day when our other vehicle’s subscription / contract (or shall I rather say prison sentence) (also fitted with a NETSAR device) comes to an end whereafter I will also ensure that it is cancelled and we will rather join a competitor company.

Thank you NETSTAR!, for showing no care or empathy to your customers during hard times.

I presume I will not get a response from anyone (again!) and hopefully my complaint to warn consumers of receiving similar treatment, which I am posting on HELLO PETER and other consumer watch websites alike will reach other potential clients far and wide to warn them of NETSTAR’S DON’T CARE ATTITUDE.

CHEERS!
