Netstar - useless business - no customer service - bad advice

Good day I have logged an official complaint via *** - No answer Word of advice, if you don't monitor or answer customer enquiries, don't put the email there. You tell us calls are monitored. I wish to hear my conversation. Go get it and contact me.

For those looking at buying/subscribing to Netstar, whatever they tell you is most likely incorrect.

I am logging an official complaint.

I called twice last week to ask about a transfer of a tracking unit from a vehicle about to be sold. I called again yesterday (Spoke with Shafiek at Netstar at 09h25). All 3 calls gave the same advice. They even commented while they were looking at my account details.

His advice clearly stated that Netstar don’t remove tracking units. For R655.50 they will fit a new unit in the new vehicle and all other aspects will carry on as normal. Old unit will be cancelled. I asked 3 times to ensure I understood.

Go and get my voice recording and call me back after you have listened to it. I want to listen to it myself again.

Now I am informed that the above is completely incorrect and I am liable for a new unit at R2600 or I must remove the tracker from my old vehicle. On the basis that I don’t have access to the car anymore, this is not an option. If you all had given me the CORRECT information as of last week I had a whole week to remove my 1 year old unit. I don’t want a 36month contract either.

I had/have 3 x early warning systems with panic buttons with Netstar. I am considering taking all 3 away as being a loyal customer for many years you are not too concerned.

What I suggest you take me seriously.
