Netstar stole my money and can't provide the service I have been paying for (and blaming me)

What an utter disspointment of a company and aftersales service.

Was with them since 2014 and decided to test the device 3 days ago, Called them and asked them to confirm the car location. They could not make contact with the device and could not tell me where the car was (my wife was at the shops). "the device is non-functioning sir". Ok, why have I paid R150 every month without fail for 6 years (thats R10K +) for a non-service? You cannot provide the service that I have been paying for. What if my wife got hi-jacked or the car ******? "Sorry sir, we can't say, you will have to speak to another department" "It would have been handled on a case by case basis" "It's your responsibility sir to call us at least every six months to make sure the device is working" "The only way to fix it sir is if you upgrade to another unit" (which is more expensive than the one I have per month) "We have no way of knowing when the device stopped working" So again, WHAT HAVE I BEEN PAYING FOR???? Sorry sir, I can't say, would you like us to upgrade you?

4 hours on the phone, no resolution to the issue, I am being blamed for not calling them to have the unit tested, no idea when it stopped working, but they are happy to debit my account every single month for more than 6 years. Contract cancelled within 3 minutes, with immediate email response, thank you for your business, we will not be laible to track your car after 30 days of this mail and we are still going to deduct next months debit order.

I have nowhere to go, no one to take this further with and have spent more than R10 000 on a false sense of security. To say I am utterly disgusted is an understatement. And I am still waiting on a mail from them with a quote for the upgrade including a discounted rate due to the grievance. Absolute disgrace
