Netstar Altron- Unbothered by data leak

Received an email today, Nov 20 2025, from Netstar that their database had been hacked and customers data including personal details, banking details, and home addresses had been compromised.Basically, any and all information one would never want leaked. A simple Google search revealed that this hack had,in fact, taken place in mid-June. Netstar only saw it fit to inform clients of this now, the wording made it clear that 'they informed clients as it's required by SA Law' and I suppose they might have been compelled to do this within a certain period, this delaying it until the last minute. Netstar was so indifferent and recommended the customer inform their own bank of this breach. Netstar could not even take the responsibility of informing the major banks about this breach and customers whose details have been compromised. It's shocking that a company can simply inform clients of such a serious matter like this, without even an apology, and carry on -'business as usual' , cant-be-bothered attitude. And it's because they know that the average customer can't do anything about it. Other than posts, like this. Deplorable.
