Netstar

On the 3rd of May 2019 my car burnt down completely while i was driving and the insurance made investigations the car was declared a write-off because the entire car burnt down ti ashes completely, i notified Netstar about this incident and asked them to cancel my contract as the vehicle and the unit no longer exists due to the fire. I was told that i should pay a settlement or continue to pay the monthly fee until the contract is finished of which does not make sense why do i have to continue paying for a unit/device that does no longer exist?
