Is Netstar really worth it?

I recently decided to test my netstar unit by pressing the panic. To my suprise a message was send asking me if everything is ok and to reply a number for yes etc. However, this made me question netstar as a theif could have stollen my car and phone and pressed the number to which all would be ok as normal if the person responded. Secondly the agent that called me did not verify my details to see if he is speaking to the owner of the car and gave me my vehicle location , without checking its me . Very dissapointing indeed.
