I hope you dont use Netstar as your tracking company

So Netstar have big problems with their client data. They keep on calling me for a vehicle I do not own to notify me of alerts on the vehicle. I have even told them on some occasions to please recover the vehicle but even that was not successful.

As a result I hope that you do not use them because they cannot seem to get it right to contact the correct owner in case there is an emergency. I wonder when the insurance companies see this if they will still endorse them?

I used to have a contract with Netstar for a vehicle that required a tracker. The contract was cancelled early in 2016 when I moved my insurance to another company that did not require the vehicle to have a tracker. So I would have believed that Netstar would have removed my information from their database seeing as we did not have any agreement in place anymore.

In January 2017 I sold this vehicle and the new owner unfortunately took up a contract with Netstar. For some reason it seems as if the new owner's detail was not updated properly on their system and they contact me at least three times a month to ask if I need any assistance because they picked up a crash alert.

I tried to explain that I should not be contacted. I begged with them not to call me anymore and even told them that I will take this up on Social media, but still I seem to be their go-to-guy for this vehicle. I even told them that I will instruct them in future to recover the vehicle if they contact me again. So on some occasions I requested a recovery and they can not even get this right!!!

Please don't use them because I cannot see how their service can be trusted.
