Get your act together Netstar!
December last year I sold my car and had to organize for the new owner to take over my Netstar contract. The new owner promised me that he would sort it out (after netstar refused to contact him directly, I gave them all his details) and I then cancelled my debit order via the bank.

On 23 January I was debited for double the amount from Netstar and tried to contact them in order to sort out this problem. Firstly, trying to contact them, be it via phone or email, is pointless. I do not have the financial resources to stay online on my cellphone for over 30 minutes. On the 23rd of Jan, however, I spoke to the first person and told him I refuse to just be put on hold again and that they best phone me back. Amazingly enough, they returned the call within five minutes and after much debating I managed to cancel the contract with the agreement that I will pay R300 as cancellation fee. Netstar also refunded the debit order on that same day. Sorted out? So I thought.

I have just relocated overseas and my husband is still in RSA. Today he had a message from Netstar stating that he must pay them the R600 that I owe them immediately. This is ridiculous and worst service ever.
