DO NOT BUY/INSTALL/SUBSCRIBE TO NETSTAR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!

Worst and most useless car track ever to exist. Total waste of time and money!

I fitted a Netsatr Plus on 2 of my vehicles. One was in 2020 and the other was this year 2022. My line of business includes a lot of traveling in various location in metros, townships, rurals. Firstly I’ve never had a call or an alert about any ‘high risk area’ anywhere or anytime. Only ever called me once about a ‘jamming signal’ which was non-existent. So I’ve never re**** on them for any intelligence. This is with the first vehicle.

Fast forward to date; fitted the same Netstar Plus for the 2nd vehicle in August 2022 and the vehicle got ****** in November 2022. When the incident (crime) happened, they had no cooking clue it was taking place. Instead a local patroller noticed the missing vehicle and notified my driver who in turn notified me. This was just after 4am. I imagine it had been hours since this happened. I immediately notified Netstar. They literally dragged their feet and came back to me over an hour later to inform me that they measly recovered their tracking devices and not my vehicle. Long story short, my vehicle is gone and forgotten.

So in a nutshell; Netstar Plus is apparently Netstar’s premium product. HOWEVER: 1. They have no way of ever knowing if you are in a risky location. Thus they will never alert you of anything. 2. Should your vehicle be ******, they have absolutely no way of being aware of it, unless you find out and you tell them. 3. They have no way of being aware that their tracking devices are being tampered with. The ********* had enough time to remove all 3 tracking devices from my car and Netstar was happy to remain asleep throughout that process. 4. They have no way of detecting that your vehicle is moving WITHOUT the key and for however long a distance. 5. They have noway of recovering your vehicle but they will send you a “comforting message” that “your case remains open” 6. They are very quick to highlight that there is no compensation on their part and its your loss sorry goodbye.

Moral of the story: If you want a tracking product that only looks good on paper and hearsay whilst wasting your time and money and risk loosing your assets, get a Netstar tracking device.
