Disappointed

I took up a product with the company last year January for my VW Cross Polo after I have been a client of your for 10 years with my citi gold. Unfortunately the Polo was ****** in May 2017 and was never recovered. Until the insurance paid for the loss in November 2017. During that period I was made aware of the possibility on Altech Netstar paying up R200000 in the event that they don’t recover a ****** vehicle within 60 days of the day it was reported ******. So now when I called to inquire about it I was told that I never signed up for the SRW as I never enquired about it when I was signing up for the Safe and Sound Early warning system. That’s when I made the consultant aware that I was never made aware of the product and that he said that it was mentioned to me that the company does not guarantee recovery of ****** vehicles thus making it seem like I was just wasting my money paying for a product that wont cover me.

At this moment I would like to escalate my matter as it seems unfair and unjustifiable for insurance to make a tracking device a prerequisite for vehicles but still find out that the product is just a decoration.

Its been two days waiting for feedback from the consultant with regards to the matter and I am starting to feel like I am not being taken seriously.
