Contract cancelation
I took a two year contract with Altech Netstar in October 2011, and cancelled it after a period of a two years. I asked for cancelation letter and to this date I have not received it.
Late 2014 I started receiving phone calls from Altech Netstar informing me that I owe them R700. Upon enquiring about the period that I owe them since I had cancelled my contract, I was never given this information but transferred from one department to the next without receiving the necessary assistance.
I was surprised to receive a call from debt collectors (Norman Bissett Associates) , a company appointed by Altech Netstar informing me that my account was handed over to them by Altech Netstar.
I requested proof from Norman Bissett and Associates reflecting the period that I owed Altech Netstar since I had cancelled my account with Altech Netstar. I have not received such proof from Norman Bissett and Associates.
The situation is worsened by the fact that Norman Bissett and Associates calls me on a daily basis and charges me up to R23, 00 per call.
I have called and sent emails to Altech Netstar as well as Norman Bissett and Associates with no substantial progress.
Both Altech Netstar and Norman Bissett and Associates are robbing me daylight.

Since I lodged a complain regarding this matter, I have not been provided with concrete assistance. I have been sent from one employee to the next with no conclusive help. I have been told the altech has been sold to Nimble group. So far I have been told that I owe R400, but they failing to provide me the specific amount that I owe.
