Billing nightmare

Got a new tracker and opted to pay 12 months in advance for the service. The tracker was fitted and struggled weeks to try and get an invoice for the payment. Finally got the invoice on email and within 3 weeks got a GL attorney letter for collecting arrears. Horrific! Trying to reach anyone at Netstar is pointless having to jump through loops and talk to this and that department.

To put the cherry on the cake, just after the tracker was fitted I got a call to download an app and setup this and that, only later to find out its not even anything to do with the car tracking but an additional service called companion something extra charged monthly.

I wish I could get rid of these people and never again have to deal with them but now stuck with them for a year. And trying to cancel the companion is again having to talk to this guy and that guy down the chain on the call center.

Netstar contacted me to resolve my issues. The lady was helpful and polite. Not much could be done to remedy the frustration and explosive anger I had to endure dealing with a collection agency so I guess an apology would have to be good enough.

The companion app was cancelled promptly so that was pain free which saves me having to make more calls for which I am grateful.

I appreciate the lady trying to remedy the situation but not much can ultimately now be done to change my mind. I had, from day one, struggled with the whole process. Maybe because I wanted to pay upfront for the year, I don't know. Be it as it may, I am now a customer for a year at least so water under the bridge.

My insurance forced me to get a tracking device, I will be changing insurance also to get out of this tracking device nonsense before next year for sure.
