Be careful before joining Netstar

WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING TO JOIN NETSTAR - I purchased a vehicle and decided to go with Miway for insurance, firstly, Miway did not inform me that a tracker was compulsory. The next day after getting my car, Netstar called me and told me its compulsory for me to install a tracker in the vehicle, the lady basically forced the contact on to me. Recently I cancelled my contract with Miway due to the car giving me problems and I am in the process of handing it back to the dealer, now I am still liable for paying the contract until it ends in 2027 and if I want to cancel it, I must pay the full amount plus an extra R1200 for a cancellation fee. For anyone thinking to join Netstar, I hope this helps you. They dont mention all this when they force you to install their trackers.
