I got a NETSTAR in my vehicle. The system was installed March 2014. As a result of hi-jacking of close friends with the same car I decided to have the system test.about six weeks ago. The system was not working and Netstar send a technician out to fix it. The technician ensure me that it's OK. Last week on my way to Nelspruit I press the panic button a lot of times and also continuously without any response. After about 20 min I contact Netstar and they confirmed that they have not received any signal. I press the button again and only after about 30 to 40 min later I received a call from then to confirm that they received a panic signal.
If this was a real emergency situation, the chances of any rescue or recovery was ZERO. During the last hi-jack episode of my friends the tracker system was removed within 10 min after the hi-jack started.
I'm aware of other tracking companies that contact the clients even when they recognized the vehicle is in a different area. To date, I have had not one call from NETSTAR to inform me about a strange movement on my vehicle, not even when I went into Mozambique.
I'm really worried, if we get into a real crisis situation. Is this acceptable?????
