Altech Netstar - Unhappy with the tracking device

I regret the day i took out a contract with Altech Netstar. I have been receiving continuous problems with the tacking device, technicians come out to fix the problem only for the problem to begin again. How can the tag and panic button not work??? These should be regarded as the most important gadgets linking the device. On numerous occassions we receive sms's to state the vehicle alarm signal has gone off, yet the vehicle is parked off and safe. The emergency centre calls through only to reset the device, resetting the device does not make sense, a device cannot be resetted all the time!!! Few weeks later the tag was faulty which was replaced. Now all off a sudden the panic button is not working!!!! I don't understand how these things happen and when we call in to report this, we get put on hold and wait for days for an appointment to be setup!!!

What if the vehicle is really in an emergency, we will not believe it due to the recent false messages we receive.

Makes me wonder why so many vehicles are not recovered successfully in SA even though they have the best tracking device installed

Please inform me the procedure to cancel this contract so i can use a more reputable company!
