Worker complaining of not being paid

I have a friend who is working at the midrand netflorist and she is complaining that she has not been paid yet she is expected to come to work, she owes me money that she was supposed to have repaid last Friday but says the company has not even paid them their salaries, why should people go hungry and be unable to repay the people they owe just because the company doesn't want to pay their workers I have texts showing that she is unable to repay me because they have not paid her and I will escalate the matter even further because my son or myself will not starve because of the fact that the company my friend works for doesn't want to pay their workers I will also inform the workers union about the situation to the department of labor this is totally unacceptable
