Unapproved rearranged delivery

I placed an order online on 19 December 2024 which indicated that the earliest delivery was from the 20 December 2024. My request was for delivery on the 21 December 2024 which was a day before the birthday event on the 22 December 2024. On the delivery date I was notified of a production delay and that delivery will now only be made on 24 December 2024. This rearrangement was made without consultation or approval. Being an online service which charges delivery I find it unacceptable that my order is delayed and will now be delivered after the event. A reputable organization has yourself has shown no consideration or inconvenience and for this I expect to be compensated in one way or another.
