Terrible quality flowers and service

I placed an order with Netflorist flowers for my wife. It was red roses and white lilies. The flowers were immediately placed in water once she received it. The flowers withered and had to be thrown away almost immediately. I sent the complaint to Netflorist and they told me that the complaint had to be raised within 48hours otherwise they cannot refund / replace, even though I attached photos of the flowers. I am not satisfied with the quality of product received especially at this price range. This was a gift for our wedding anniversary and now I just feel embarrassed by the gift I gave my wife.
