Terrible Communication and Delivery Service

Good Morning. I received my order at 7pm for a birthday which was yesterday. I was very much not pleased with overall service. The delivery arrived very late. I was not happy with the style of the company of not specifying when the order will be delivered. I know the call centre assistance kept repeating that this is your policy etc but you really need to review it. I got a message at 12 midday that the order was out for collection with no TAT when this would be etc. There was no one at home and I was conflicted to maybe use the work address of the recipient which would have turned out a disaster as the order arrived at 7pm when she was home. I am suggesting maybe once you allocated an order for delivery issue the client with the drivers contact so they can check the whereabouts and make sure there is someone home not only for that reason but also for just checking the driver of when the estimated delivery time will be. I was so frustrated panicking the whole day not knowing what was taking so long as there is no traffic etc currently; a client should not be feeling this anxious and stressed about a delivery and be helpless. The call centre closes at 5pm and no one could update further. As a leading class company in this you should do better on this situation. Such an amazing experience should end in that manner not stressful as it was for me. I will honestly think twice in future about using Netflorist due to this experience. The items were delivered in perfect condition but the process to deliver just really downed the whole celebration mood. Please do better. Order: ***
