Shining Example of Customer Service at its Worst!
I placed an order for the Pink Perfection Vase as per first pic attached. According to the Netflorist website, the vase should have been pink as the name suggests however, a purple vase was instead delivered! Not only was the colour of the vase not as described on their website but nor was the shape the same as that detailed on the website either. At no point from the time the order was placed to the date of delivery was I contacted to be informed that my order could not be fulfilled or asked if a replacement vase would be suitable, instead they took the liberty of substituting the vase with another which I hadn’t chosen or paid for with one they deemed suitable?! If the vase was unimportant, I could have purchased a bouquet of flowers without a vase for a R.100 less however, this was obviously not what I wanted!! If their flowers were cheaper and service better, I would have considered this issue an oversight on their part however, this is not the case and it’s therefore unacceptable!! Previously when recipients have received wilting roses or badly presented bouquets, I was offered a credit note to use on a future purchase. This in my opinion, is Netflorist’s idea of a joke because that means I would have to spend more money to make use of the supposed compensation they offered so having said that, I do obviously expect to be compensated for having wasted a lot of my time choosing a suitable flower arrangement and money - paying R.469.90 for something which you dislike is especially frustrating in our overall economic climate and a credit note just wouldn’t do this time!! Not only have I e-mailed them using the e-mail address stated on their useless website but I sent them a message on Facebook as well – unsurprisingly both times I was ignored!! Shining example of Customer Service at it’s worst!!
