Run for the hills or lose your money

<p>Order No: ********** 60<br />If it was possible to give a zero star rating, this would be an appropriate case. These people are ******, in my opinion. I placed an order, which l clearly explained was a surprise. So l provided the recipient's sister's phone number as a contact. Soon after, l received and email asking me to send photos of my ID and credit card, showing all details. The email did not have a signature or appear to come from an official source. I explained that l could only send my credit card minus the first 12 digits plus a copy of my photographic ID other than my ID or passport. I got no reply. I emailed a day later to check about delivery. I then got a reply saying: "Unfortunately we as a merchant has cancelled the order on our side we cannot execute the order from our side, the reason for this is we cannot verify that the transaction is legit and the recipient contact details does not correspond." Apparently they had called the recipient's sister demanding that they be allowed to talk to the recipient. Forget about the surprise, they wanted to talk to her.</p> <p>Then, they had the gall to suggest that rather than refund my money, it was my job to talk to my credit card company and tell them to reverse the sale. Clearly that will not be possible without proof that l have not been provided with the service l paid for. And as a tourist, l cannot call my Europe based credit card company until l go back in the new year without incurring astronomical charges, which means it will be too late to reverse the purchase.</p> <p>The treatment l have received smells like a ****. But even if it is not, it is not worth your trouble. Run to the hills. Find other sources. Stay away from these fly by night operators.</p>
