Plant dead after 3 days

i bought a lovely Areca Bamboo on netflorist last week on Monday the 6th of july and received it on the 7th. the plant started dying over the weekend. i tried to make contact with netflorist on monday and i didn't receive any feedback at all after sending pictures. can someone helo me as i cant pay R400 for a plant to last me one week
