Pathetic birthday experience

Ordered a gift basket for my dad's birthday. I was told the order will be delivered on his birthday. The tracking status showed "Prepared for delivery". I got worried at about 2:30pm and contacted Netflorist and they assured me the order was being handed over to the driver and will be delivered before 7pm. At 4:30pm I contacted them again and was told the same thing. At 5:01pm I get a call saying there is no stock to deliver?

We were looking forward to the gift. Absolutely pathetic.
