No such thing as "Same day delivery"

Very disappointing service. I bought my mom a simple birthday gift in the morning for same day delivery, the gift was not delivered on the day. Netflorist said they have until 7pm to deliver to a residential address, this is not stated on their website by the way. They only called me at 18h59 regarding the delivery, and thereafter sent an email to say sorry we couldn't deliver on time. To top things off, they did not have stock of the birthday mug I ordered. How can a national gifting service not have a staple such as birthday mugs. Instead they told me they are replacing it with another mug, and didn't even send me a picture of the mug. I had to ask the lady for a simple picture, and I wasn't pleased with it, but I had no choice as I had already paid. The call centre agent was very cold and unapologetic when I called at 4pm to follow up on the "same day delivery". It's the following day now, and my mom still hasn't received her birthday gift... [Sigh]
