NO Messages on the cards as requested and late delivery on some things

the gift was sent in time, but the card did not have the message that i requested,......even my wife bought some stuff for me, but the cards did not have messages that she requested.....then what is the purpose of having the cards messages then?

the second present my wife ordered arrived after 7 oclock @night....
