NetFlorist useless service and delivery times

NetFlorist is an absolute disgrace and clearly has no regard whatsoever for its customers. I ordered flowers yesterday for my wife for Valentine’s Day, a day that happens once a year and is not exactly a surprise on the calendar, and they still haven’t been delivered. Instead of taking responsibility, I’m being told I must wait until 20h00 because that’s their “standard policy.” What good are Valentine’s flowers arriving at 20h00? The whole purpose is to surprise and celebrate during the day, not as some late-night afterthought when the day is practically over. It’s astonishing how a company can hide behind policy while completely missing the point of customer service. Policies are meant to support customers, not inconvenience them on important occasions. This level of indifference and incompetence is unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers on something as straightforward as a Valentine’s Day flower delivery, it says everything about how little they value the people who pay their bills.
