Netflorist Ruined My Mothers Day

I am not a happy customer. I am generally not one to complain and cause a fuss but because this matter has emotionally upset me I feel the need to bring this to someone's attention. A bit of my background. I am an only child living in Dubai away from my Mother who lives in South Africa. With it being Mother's Day around the corner I wanted to suprise her with a special delivery of flowers just to show how special and loved she is. I placed an order on the 2 May 2016 to be delivered, today the 5 May 2016. The flowers were to be delivered to my mothers work address. As we are all aware most people work from 8am to 5pm. Your driver called my Mother just after 5pm to hear if he could drive to her work to deliver the flowers, after the flowers have been in transit the entire day. My mother had already left work and was on her way home to Alberton from Johannesburg. I find it completely unacceptable that you wait until 5pm to deliver flowers! What breaks my heart even more is that now the status of what was supposed to be an unexpected surprise is now an expected arranged surprise with delivery being scheduled for tomorrow. It breaks my heart that Netflorist has ruined that element of surprise. I will never place an order with you again. I spent R900 on flowers for my Mother. Most people in South Africa don't even have that kind of money to spend on flowers but I did because my Mother is worth it and you guys just showed how incompetant you are at doing your job. I feel that if Netflorist cannot handle the capacity and volume of orders at such a busy time of year, then please do everyone the favour and do not offer a facility of delivering flowers at this time of year. I spent 20min on the phone with an operator who was supposedly forwarding my call to someone in a higher position only to be entertained by the music your phone tone plays. 20min and keep in mind its an international phone call. Seriously unacceptable. Even by delivering the flowers tomorrow, the idea has been spoilt and the feeling ruined. Savanah Delport
