NETFLORIST RUINED MY DAY, FAILED TO DELIVER AND STILL CHARGED ME! ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!
NETFLORIST: ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL SERVICE. AN UTTER JOKE OF A COMPANY!
If there were an option to give NetFlorist MINUS FIVE STARS, I'd gladly use it. What an absolutely pathetic, *********** and infuriating experience!
I placed an order for flowers at 10:00 AM, specifically for delivery TODAY. By 15:50, almost SIX HOURS later, the flowers STILL hadn't been delivered!
And here's what these people apparently fail to comprehend: FLOWERS ARE TIME-SENSITIVE! People don't send flowers just for the hell of it. They send them for birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, romantic gestures, or simply because THAT PARTICULAR MOMENT matters!
THE TIMING IS PART OF THE GIFT, YOU IDIOTS!
What ****** use is a beautiful bouquet arriving after the recipient has left the office? The surprise is ruined, the moment is gone, and the entire purpose of ordering the flowers has been defeated!
I spoke to a consultant named Zinhle, who offered the usual rehearsed apologies and empty expressions of understanding, but demonstrated absolutely ZERO sense of urgency.
I was then transferred to her manager, Sihle, and somehow the experience became even more ridiculous.
Instead of taking ownership of the problem and making a genuine effort to resolve it, Sihle proceeded to lecture me about their precious SLA, proudly informing me that they technically have until 17:30 to deliver!
ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?!
What corporate office in 2026 is realistically expecting its staff to hang around until 17:30 waiting for a bunch of flowers? Since COVID, we're lucky if people are still at their desks at 16:00!
But apparently, as long as NetFlorist can hide behind some conveniently worded service agreement, they consider their job done.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION? IRRELEVANT. THE OCCASION? IRRELEVANT. THE CUSTOMER'S MONEY? VERY RELEVANT!
And now for the absolute cherry on top of this spectacular display of incompetence.
When I decided to cancel the order because they had completely defeated its purpose, I was informed that I would STILL be charged a 15% handling fee PLUS a delivery fee, amounting to approximately R150!
LET THAT SINK IN.
THE FLOWERS WERE NEVER DELIVERED. THE INTENDED RECIPIENT RECEIVED NOTHING. THE OCCASION WAS RUINED. AND NETFLORIST STILL WANTS TO KEEP MY MONEY!
Apparently, merely sending flowers out for delivery, without actually delivering them, is enough to justify charging the customer.
What an absolutely astonishing level of arrogance!
Both Zinhle and Sihle maintained their professional-sounding customer-service scripts, but neither demonstrated the slightest meaningful urgency to salvage the situation. Being politely dismissive doesn't make you helpful. It just makes your indifference more infuriating.
NETFLORIST, YOU ARE NOT SIMPLY SELLING FLOWERS. YOU ARE SELLING A SERVICE BUILT AROUND EMOTIONS, OCCASIONS, SURPRISES AND TIMING.
If you cannot grasp that fundamental concept, you have absolutely no business operating in this industry!
I didn't pay you to eventually move a bunch of flowers from point A to point B whenever it suited your delivery schedule. I paid you to deliver a meaningful gesture at the appropriate time.
YOU FAILED TO DELIVER THE FLOWERS, FAILED TO DELIVER THE SERVICE, FAILED TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, AND THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING MY DAY RUINED!
Six hours of waiting, two utterly unhelpful customer-service representatives, one ruined surprise, no flowers delivered, and R150 down the drain.
What an absolute disgrace!
AVOID NETFLORIST. IF THE OCCASION ACTUALLY MATTERS TO YOU, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH IT.
ONE STAR — AND EVEN THAT IS ONE STAR TOO MANY!
