NetFlorist offers No Opt Out and SPAMs your email
This is the second review I am leaving, so that I can warn enough users NOT to give NetFlorist any of their contact details. In fact, avoid using the company....unless happy to receive emails from them nearly daily - and no Opt Out option available. I have repeatedly tried to have my email information removed from their database, yet all attempts are ignored. Furthermore, the fact that there is NO OPT OUT is contravening POPIA. To date, I have had no response to my requests.

04 Jun 2021, 09:56NetFlorist finally rep**** to one of the many emails I sent and removed my email address from their database. No apology was received and they only removed my info once I mentioned that I would go to the Information Regulator and cited PoPIA where it is:
".... an offence to send unsolicited electronic communications for the purpose of direct marketing. POPIA does permit a company to approach you once (and only once) to ask for your permission to send you marketing messages, but if you ignore or decline this request, you may not be sent further communications."
How sad is it that consumers are forced to take such steps. NetFlorist not only lost a customer but moreover, has gained an active negative WoM user as I will not only never recommend them but will warn friends, family and colleagues about their practices as a business.
