NetFlorist dishonesty

Usually happy with Netflorist but extremely disappointed this time. We ordered a gift for our sister as we are isolating and could not be with her and this is her first birthday without my dad so it was important that we got this gift to her on her birthday so she could feel a little bit of cheer. The website shows that we can still order for same-day delivery, we speak to the "help" and explain that we need it delivered on the today. They accept our order but do not deliver on the day. Had we known we would have ordered from another company who actually keeps their word. To make matters worse, they lie and in the delivery, the report shows that it was delivered on the 5th July at 8 while it was actually delivedrd on the 6th July. Is this a stunt to better their stats?
