NetFlorist disappointing

Ordered flowers for my partner for our anniversary which was scheduled to be delivered on the same day .NetFlorist disappointed ,called them and asked what’s happening and they advised they can only do next day delivery as florist is closed and only reopening tomorrow.How does one go through the trouble to get flowers delivered on a special occasion and they just tell you no sorry next day .
