NetFlorist can't deliver to one of the biggest cities in the country

This evening I tried to order a gift basket from NetFlorist to say thank you to a friend who had done me a huge favour. This friend lives in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, which is the second busiest harbour in the country, the biggest city in the Eastern Cape and a major city with around 1 million inhabitants. The contents of the gift basket were some wine, nougat, Turkish delight, Pringles, biltong, chocolates and peanuts - basically anything that can be bought at any supermarket in South Africa.

Unfortunately NetFlorist would not let me purchase this item, saying that it was out of stock and asked me to change my delivery date. I experimented with a variety of dates and found it impossible for this item EVER to be delivered, despite the image stating clearly that delivery is Nationwide. I tried dates up to and including MAY of this year and received the same error message.

Is there some national shortage of nougat? Is there a nut crisis? Have the vegetarians finally won and made biltong *******? What could the reason possibly be for a company as large and reputable as NetFlorist not to be able to deliver a hamper containing everyday items to a city as important as Port Elizabeth? I could put that hamper together myself in a matter of hours by just going to the local supermarket!

I tried various other products, only to receive the same message every time: it seems that NetFlorist cannot deliver anything to Port Elizabeth at all.

I was able to order a similar hamper from another service provider without any hassles whatsoever. This is certainly going to make me reconsider ever using this useless company again.
