NetFlorist apathy towards customers
I ordered a parcel where I needed two to be delivered to me on the same day, at the same address. Upon checking out, I noticed that I was charged a double delivery fee. I then decided to not complete the order. A few hours later I received a voucher for a free delivery, but it meant I still had to pay for the one order. When I raised this as a complaint with NetFlorist, I was advised that I needed to contact the call centre to ensure that there is one delivery charge only. How is that for understanding customer service. But wait, there is even more. So I decided that in good faith, I will try them again. I received my original order and on both off them I received a surprise voucher. Imagine my surprise when the voucher code was exactly the same on both parcels, meaning that I can only redeem the one as they are indeed the same and only redeemable once. In addition to this, I received a free delivery voucher again, and I wanted to use the one surprise voucher issued twice (but can only be used once), and another surprise. Their system allows one redeemable voucher only. I could not redeem both. So I got in contact with the call centre (not ideal, but I felt that perhaps this time I should give them an opportunity to restore my faith in them). I was told I can only redeem one of the vouchers. I wanted to redeem the free delivery and the surprise vouchers. No, it cannot be done. I said then I will go to the Body Shop. The response, That will be better. Good for you, NetFlorist. You have not grasped the concept of understanding what matters to your customers, how to best serve their needs and more importantly how to have a system that enables customers. This was my last order with you. Ever.
