Neflorist charging on delivery (41% of the value of an individual item) - bill delivery per item for multiple items from single 3rd party supplier to the same delivery address at the same time

On a bill of 1539.75, the delivery charge was 349.75 – delivery (single address, 5 items) – so the delivery fee is around 22.5% of the bill and as much as 41% on each candle. The feedback is that the delivery fees are due to a website issue and that the customer should rather call than place the order online (NO WHERE DOES IT STATE THIS WHEN PLACING THE ORDER). The price difference on the flowers from catalogue to order is 56%. I was charged 5 times for the 5 items purchased to go to the same address on the same date (single delivery). I ordered 3 sympathy candles at R169.95 per candle and was charged delivery 3 times at R69.99 per candle (41% delivery per candle from the same supplier at the same time). Netflorist take zero accountability, provide no compensation for their inefficiencies systematically and no rebate/refund policy for this. The wreath stated national delivery - East London has a local florist supporting netflorist so 1 delivery charge would be acceptable (not 5delivery fees on a single order) Their system inefficiencies are not the consumers responsibility, their system does not flag a warning what when more than 1 line item is procured, that it is best to CALL when placing the order. The feedback keeps changing to avoid any payback - they take no accountability. As the difference in the basket is more than the delivery – the flowers alone were 56% more expensive + an additional 13% for delivery. So the wreath alone was 69% overall more than catalogued. I entered my smartshopper card number to get the points as it states on the site – needless to say this did not come through either .
