Mixed up and undelivered

I ordered a personalized item from Netflorist and another gift a day before my anniversary. I tried to track the item on the day to see where it was but the status showed deferred for most of the day. I received a mail confirming that the items were delivered but it was too late as my wife had already gone home, and a colleague received the item on her behalf. This morning when my wife got to the office she thanked me for the flowers, but then I didn't send her flowers. Turns out she received the gift and card from my order and flowers and a card from someone else's order. I sent a mail to Netflorist to explain the situation and received a call back 3 hours later. They reported that the correct item was delivered and once again signed for by a colleague as my wife was in a meeting. I only later found out that she has still not received the item. I have sent another mail enquiring about this order but will probably only hear back from them tomorrow. perfect way to mess up two orders at the same time.
