Missing Item from our order

I ordered a hamper of chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine for my in-laws who were alone for Christmas. Wondered why they kept saying thanks for the chocolates and no mention of sparkling wine. Eventually mentioned it only to find they did not get it! I paid a premium for it, i want to know why it was not delivered!
