Lack empathy
Netflorist is very insensitive. I arranged for a potted plant to be delivered to my boss the day after his wife passed away. I was only contacted later in the afternoon to say the address was incomplete, how did they not pick that up before planning the delivery route for the day? None the less, I was called, as I answered the phone was put down. It rang for 2 rings only - so the assumption is people are impatient. I was emailed about the address and said it would be delivered the following day. I followed up the following day and there was no reply. Only this week that I follow up, after a whole week passed did they arrange delivery. I assume if I didn’t follow up it would have been forgotten. I couldn’t ask my boss if he got it because that is very insensitive. Needless to say I asked more than once why the delivery was so delayed and no one bothers to reply. All I get told is it was delivered. Now, how does it make me look to have a plant delivered a week after someone’s loved one had passed away??? It’s just unacceptable. Considering your line of business, when it comes to sympathy you should really treat it with empathy not just another delivery. This is why people now resort to Checkers and Woolworths because it’s smoother, cheaper and delivered same day. You really need to reassess what service you provide, including post sales!!
