Happy with service; not so happy with doubled delivery fee

We ordered a Boss'sDay gift for our manager. It arrived promptly on 15 October after I asked that the delivery date be changed from 16 to 15 October. Neatly wrapped and everything we wanted.

However, the delivery fee for the 2 items, to be delivered to one address, took me aback. instead of one amount for delivery, it was doubled. We paid it because we wanted the gift. The company should look into that.
