Gift not delivered and refusal to refund total amount

I placed an order on Monday, requested that the delivery be on Friday.. The order was released for delivery on Thursday a day before the day I had requested. I was not informed of this change. Nobody was home on Thursday. I had to call netflorist only to be told they cannot deliver on Friday but can only do so on Monday the 21st of June. The gift was for Father's day... When I asked for a refund I was told they will only be able to give me 50% of my money. I now have to pay for a their mess. They call center agents hung up on me when I raised this issue
