Flowers delivered late to incorrect person who signed for them

I ordered flowers for same day delivery, and was promised a 100% guarantee by the website. I spent a significant amount of money on flowers for my long distance fiance, and I assumed that they would be delivered to her during the delivery hours (shown as 9am to 1pm on Saturdays).

I hear nothing and receive no calls during the day, except an email saying that the delivery is "in transit". The delivery address that was given is correct, and my own and my fiance's contact details were given with the order, but neither of us received any calls.

When I checked my email today, a day after the flowers were supposed to be received, I see an email saying that they have been delivered and that a stranger (to me and my fiance) has signed for them. Permission was not given by either of us for some unknown person to receive and sign for this gift. This is unacceptable and I am very angry.

Even if the address was incorrect (which it isn't, I have verified it), or if the driver got lost, they could have contacted me or my fiance for directions or further instructions.

How can the gift be delivered to a random person 5 hours late?

I have paid money for something that the intended recipient has not received at a critical time. I was led to believe that NetFlorist provides a reliable service, as their website states 100% guarantee, and in the past their service has been great. However this occurence is akin to *******.

This is horrible service, and is completely unacceptable.
