False Black Friday /Cyber Monday Discount Codes & No Proper Support

I am very disappointed with NetFlorist’s misleading Black Friday promotions. They advertised the 20BFRIYAY and 40BFRIYAY voucher codes for qualifying purchases over R500 and R1 000, and even sent a Cyber Monday promotion on 01 December confirming the codes were still valid. The chatbot on their site also confirmed that the vouchers were valid until 01 December.

Despite meeting all qualifying spend and using the codes within the specified period, neither of the voucher codes could be redeemed at checkout.

Adding to this frustration, the support function on their site is ineffective. You are forced to interact with a bot that claims it will transfer you to an agent, but no agent ever joins and no actual assistance is provided.

This amounts to misleading marketing and poor customer service. I urge NetFlorist to honour the advertised discounts by applying the correct reduction to my order, or alternatively to offer a suitable voucher/compensation for the inconvenience caused.

NetFlorist should also address the faults in their voucher system and provide functional customer support to prevent similar experiences for other customers.
