False advertising and incorrect information given

I would like to report False advertising and incorrect advice that was rendered to me.

I had seen an adverti*****t for a free Ferrero hamper that was valid for the first 2000 customers for Father's day gift.

The terms and conditions stated that it was for a min spend of R550. For fathers day orders placed between 17th to the 21st of June.

When I enquired about this. The sales assistant Tebogo had advised that it does not include father's day gifts. However, I had stated that the advert stated that the promotion is valid for the fathers day period.

She advised that there was a separate catalogue that included this gift. As a customer the adverti*****t and website did not state this. She advised that is was only for delivery between the 18th to 20th. However as seen in the adverti*****t, it is for delivery between the 17th and 21st.

I also called and spoke to the call center agent, Bridget yesterday who had stated that the 2000 customers were already reached. However, the website currently states that there are 500 gifts left.

There are too many incorrect responses given making it nearly impossible for the client to obtain the gift that seemed promised to be given should an order be placed.

I would like to take this matter of False advertising and incorrect information rendered up .
