Failing to refund when services are not rendered is ***** and theft
Although I have used Netflorist previously without problem, I was extremely disappointed and upset at the unacceptable experience my friends from Brisbane Australia experienced with Netflorist when they utilized the company to send me a retirement gift. I quote my friend’s message
“Don’t have invoices cos they were on line purchases. But the basic facts as follows. Company is Netflorist. They advertise flowers for delivery in Sth Africa. They take my money. Then I get email saying the flowers I specified are not available - asking me to nominate alternative. In both instances I rep**** - on the same day - to the emails asking for local flowers of same amount to be delivered. Then silence. No response. No flowers delivered. I’m simply ignored. I almost contacted the SA equivalent of our “consumer affairs ombudsman” to complain and then I simply gave up. Wasn’t worth the agro. …. And pls don’t hassle. Like me you’re retired. It’s really not worth the hassle. So have a coffee and relax. Enjoy life. “ Yes, we are both retirees who can ill afford to squander money or be *****ulently out of pocket. Netflorist should have the decency to apologize and refund the client for an unsuccessful transaction and delivery.
