Epic Valentines day failure

3 February 2017 at 07:41. I placed my order for delivery on the 14th February stipulating a business delivery address. The order was for 12 Red Roses in Craft Paper for R 399.95. You can appreciate my surprise at paying R33 a rose! But it is a special day and after all, your website promises Same day Delivery (bearing in mind I have ordered this some 11 days prior then this should not be a problem), 2) Safe & Secure Shopping (great), 3) 100% Satisfaction guarantee – which for the most important flower event of the year – Valentine’s day is important!

14 February 2017 at 09:04 I get an email to say “Hi Seth. We just wanted to let you know that your gift for Melissa ( ********** 38) is scheduled for delivery today, and will leave our building soon”. No need to an update me eher, I am well aware of when I overpaid to have 12 roses sent to my wife.

14 February 2017 at 09:12 I get an email offering me R100 discount offer. Thanks but this is no help. I placed my order close on 2 weeks ago. Netflorist coming late to the early show!

14 February 2017 at 12:56, I receive the following “Hi Seth, Just like Elvis, your order of Red Roses in Craft Paper ( ********** 18) for delivery to Melissa has left the building. The estimated time could vary based on giraffes climbing out of potholes and taxis being… well, taxis. BUT, our drivers are devoted to their cause, and will do their best to get to Melissa on time. All very funny at the time. I wonder where the building that you are referring to is. I live in Johannesburg – perhaps it is in Durban or Cape Town?

14 February 2017 at 16:30 my wife arrive home with no flowers!

14 February 2017 at 16:45 I phone Netflorist. I am on hold for 10 minutes (listening to Harold telling me smooches) and then it takes me another 8 minutes to craft a solution with the Call centre agent. Whom had absolutely no solution available! I thus I provide my home address and request a delivery ASAP. After all, my order “has left the building” so it can’t be long until they arrive

14 February 2017 at 17:41 “DEAR SETH, We just wanted to let you know that we attempted delivery of your order Item Number ********** 18 today but we were unfortunately unsuccessful because We didnt arrive at the destination timeously; Your order will be marked for priority and a new gift will go out as soon as possible” So much for your twitter assurances that you are doing residential deliveries until 20:00. Clearly you could barely spend an hour’s worth of effort to deliver post my costly phone call.

***. Who wants a gift the day after Valentine’s day?

What happened to 100% Satisfaction guarantee? Seriously. A delivery today is like drop off life jackts at the Titanic on the 16th April. And to top it all the SAME thing happened two years ago and I was given a discount on my next purchase. Don’t try that this time. I never want to buy another thing from Netflorist! Your incompetence is like the Titanic and your credibility is sunk.

So..

NO I don’t want a delivery today. It’s too late.

NO I don’t want a gift to make up for your inability to delivery on your guarantee.

NO I am not satisfied.

Harold sux, your company sux.
