Disgusted as they ruined a 35th Wedding Anniversary

What they promise on their adverts and their marketing strategy does not line up with what is offered. I placed an order on the 28/11/2020 for them to deliver flowers on the 30/11/2020 which was for my parents 35th wedding anniversary. Needless to say the delivery never occurred on the 30/11/2020. Yesterday the 01/12/2020 i called and followed up the entire day and the delivery also did not occur. I advised them on Monday and Tuesday that my mother works till 16:30 and they need to ensure that she receives the delivery before then. all they kept on saying was they dont guarantee delivery or give a specific time which i find extremely unacceptable as they sell a service that they cant deliver on. same day delivery. I asked for this to be escalated yesterday and i never received a call. i had to call again and then spoke to Wendelle who advised that he will ensure that the delivery happens today - not that it matters anymore as my parents anniversary was 2 days ago. I'm truly disappointed as i work in the service industry and if a promise is made you keep to that promise. promise same day delivery - PLEASE STICK TO IT and dont advertise falsely. Order number ***
