Disappointed with Netflorist: Misrepresented Product & Poor Customer Service.

I recently placed an order for a specific product based on the image and description on their website. Unfortunately, upon receiving the item, it was completely different from what was advertised.

Misrepresentation: The advertised image clearly showed a grey sweater with a grey print. There was no mention of any other colors on the product page. However, the item I received was a grey sweater with a green print. This significantly differed from what I purchased, and it felt very misleading.

Unreasonable Return Policy: When I contacted Netflorist about the discrepancy, their customer service was unfortunately quite disappointing. They were only willing to offer a 50% refund for the canceled order, despite the clear misrepresentation on their website. Additionally, they wanted to charge me courier fees to return the incorrect item!

The Consumer Protection Act (CPA) applies: According to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), I have the right to return goods within seven business days of receiving them for a full refund if they are misrepresented and returned unused in original packaging. Netflorist's policy seems to contradict the CPA's customer rights.

Research Raises Concerns: Further research into Netflorist revealed a concerning trend. Their employee reviews online are consistently low, suggesting potential internal issues that might contribute to the poor customer service I experienced. Additionally, reports indicate a high employee churn rate, which could raise questions about management, employee morale, trust and consistency.

Recommendation: I would advise potential Netflorist customers to be cautious when ordering online, especially if relying solely on website images and descriptions. Their return policy appears unfair, and concerning company culture might be impacting the customer experience.

Hopefully, Netflorist will review their practices to ensure accurate product representation, a more customer-friendly return policy, and invest in employee morale to improve customer service.
