Disappointed in the Service - Late delivery

I had ordered a gift yesterday on the Net florist website for same day delivery. I had been previously told that for the gift to be delivered on the same day, the order had to be placed before noon that day which i had done. To my surprise at the end of the day yesterday, no gift was delivered, I asked the person meant to receive the gift if they and received anything and nothing had been delivered.When I follow up with Net florist this morning, the consultant told me that the driver went to the address and he was told the person is not there and left for my day, And I can confirm that the person was still at work just before 5pm. What surprises me is that no-one from Net florist bothered to contact me to tell me that it was not delivered and I feel no real effort was put into ensuring the same day delivery benchmark was met.Delivery was made today but its still late.I chose same day delivery for a reason cause I knew the gift had to reach the person on time on that specific day.The service provided was disappointing and I expected better from Net florist.Its ridiculous that i pay a surcharge for same day delivery but my delivery was made the next day [URL Removed] was bad!
